The notice below is the standardized New York State Housing and Anti-Discrimination Notice published by the New York Department of State, posted here as required of New York real estate brokers.
Federal, State and Local Fair Housing and Anti-discrimination Laws protect individuals from housing discrimination. It is unlawful to discriminate based on certain protected characteristics, which include, but are not limited to: race, creed, color, national origin, citizenship or immigration status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, military status, sex, age, disability, marital status, status as a victim of domestic violence, lawful source of income or familial status.
This sign must be prominently posted in all real estate broker offices and at all public open houses.

For properties located in Florida, housing discrimination is prohibited by the federal Fair Housing Act and by the Florida Fair Housing Act, Sections 760.20 through 760.37, Florida Statutes. Complaints concerning Florida properties may be filed with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development at hud.gov/fairhousing or with the Florida Commission on Human Relations at fchr.myflorida.com.
