The Pierhouse offers contemporary townhouse-like living, except with expansive, protected views of Brooklyn Bridge Park, the Manhattan skyline and New York Harbor. Given its location, a short ferry or subway ride from Wall Street or Midtown, Pierhouse could be a great alternative to Manhattan Luxury Properties, which are priced much higher. Also, it’s only a 5-minute walk to both Dumbo arts district and Brooklyn Heights historic district.
When completed in 2015, Pierhouse will be the finest Brooklyn Luxury Condo built to-date. The Pierhouse will be intimate, rising only 5 stories. However, the project is still quite large and will ultimately include 108 units, most of which will have double height living rooms with 18-foot ceilings. In addition, residences will feature the finest finishes, including eco-friendly reclaimed wood floors, automated shade system, Gaggenau appliances, solid walnut kitchen cabinetry, 18-bottle under counter wine storage, and much more.
Brooklyn Bridge Park, all 85-acres of it, will be, in essence, Pierhouse’s front yard. Other amenities include concierge, fitness center, meditation studio, residents’ lounge, pet wash, children’s playroom, and an onsite hotel, the eco-lux 1 Hotel, where residents can use the rooftop pool, spa, gym and other amenities.
Given its pricing, Pierhouse is definitely a Brooklyn Luxury Condo, with current average pricing in the $1,750 per square foot range, not taking into account all the terrace space. This, however, is much less expensive than new-construction Manhattan Luxury Properties which are trading on average at $2,400 per sq. ft. The units are quite large, currently with available sizes for 1 bedrooms starting at 1,350 sq. ft., 2 bedrooms starting at 1,975 sq. ft. and 3 bedrooms starting at 3,134 sq. ft.
Pierhouse is being exclusively marketed by Toll Brothers City Living.
